The Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque Takmir Committee, Kampung Sungai Akar organised the 'World Quran Hour'. The ceremony took place at the said mosque, 25th March afternoon.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Suyoi bin Haji Osman, a Member of the Legislative Council. The ceremony included the recitation and Tadabbur of Surah As-Saff. World Quran Hour is one of the global events and the Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque is one of the hosts for Brunei Darussalam. Also present was Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Fiscal.
